For 2014 the Car Club’s event has been renamed MG90 to honour 90 years of MG Motoring. The MG Car Club has always enjoyed a close relationship with MG and MG90 will be no exception, with MG Motor hosting a special zone focusing on the next 90 years of MG.
As part of the MG Car Club’s year of celebrations, a team from Kimber House will be acknowledging the start of the 90 day countdown by attending an exclusive preview of a 90 year MG display in Abingdon’s County Hall Museum.
Along with a display of MGs parked in Abingdon’s Market Square, the opening preview will be attended by special guests from the world of MG including Don Hayter, Peter Browning and Brian Moylan.
The display will be open to the public until July 20th and has been created with help from the MG Car Club’s archivist Peter Neal. It features a selection of important historic artefacts from Kimber House to create a unique display.
Tickets to MG90 at Silverstone are available now, starting from just £16.50 for MG Car Club members, with free entry for children aged 16 and under. To find out more about MG90 and to reserve your place at the MG event of the year visit www.mg90.co.uk or call 01235 55 55 52.
